YES Youth Enrichment Services - Donation - Kayak Excursion for 4 | Silent Auction Spring 2026

Northern Explorer Supply is proud to provide to the auction winner of this year's YES Silent Auction a kayaking excursion for four people on the York River. 

This self-guided kayaking trip on the National Wild and Scenic York River includes two premium sit-on-top tandem kayaks along with  paddles, life jackets, and dry bags to protect your valuables.

All equipment will be delivered to one of two landings on the York River, based on the tide schedule.

NES will provide an itinerary during your reservation process that accounts for the incoming and outgoing tide. We typically tailor the schedule so that you can benefit from a tidal current that nudges you upstream or downstream away from your starting location and then back to your starting location upon return, after the tide switches.

A complimentarty tutorial is included to review paddling techniques, how to operate the equipment, and how to navigate the river's route you choose. We will then assist you into your kayaks and adjust the seat and footrests for comfort before helping you push off from shore.

This donation must be redeemed for a trip date to occur on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday between June 22nd and September 11th, 2026 and is not transferrable to other persons/parties. The winner and their fellow participants must agree and abide to all Rental Agreement terms and conditions including full waiver of Liability.
