This semi-private pond does have public access, however its use is limited to mitigate impacts on the fragile ecosystem. It is a quiet, shallow freshwater location that is home to many birds, beaver, mink, turtles, dragonflies, bass, perch, crappie, and other beautiful species.
NES will Deliver to and from Scituate Pond landing and trailhead which accesses a significant swath of dirt trails excellent for biking and hiking. Drop-off and pick-up will occur at the times scheduled, unless an alternative time(s) is agreed upon due to availability constraints.

Parking is free and plentiful at one of two lots footsteps away. The Private signs do not pertain to the public parking areas and launch area. They pertain only to the wooded house lot that sits atop the nearby hill.
NOTE: Scituate Pond has a shallow, easy to enter beach entry point for watercraft. No power boats are allowed on this pond. A peaceful and user friendly place to go. No tides to worry about either! The trails are endless, so please bring a map with you among other preparations.
